Stamped concrete patterns and colored concrete make a really nice combination. But...
Have you ever wondered how they get fossils or animal imprints or those neat looking compass motifs on the concrete?
At first, even we were stumped and thought that it was maybe a stencil stain gizmo... or a special concrete imprint stamp.

As it turns out, advancement in acids (primarily phosphoric and sulphuric) and special sandblasting stencils where the culprits behind the amazing designs that

have graced so many entrances to buildings and residences. Just about anything the imagination can conjure up can be "inlayed" into the concrete using color and acid etching.


Disney World has used etching techniques for a multitude of their theme parks; including the photos used on this page.
