Integral color simply means the color is mixed into the entire batch of concrete... Which, for you, means your entire concrete slab has consistent color throughout. ...Some installers will use a color hardener. This only colors the very top of your concrete. If simply resurfacing your existing project, this can be a more cost effective way to add color effects (Stardek offers the most reliable concrete overlay systems in North America)..

...But, if for any reason you chip a small spot in your slab, "gray" concrete shows right through.
